About The Conference

Pan Arab vascular surgical society (PAVSS) annual meeting is a comprehensive international vascular surgical congress that brings state of the art vascular technology and vascular knowledge to the Arab world.

It covers all aspects of open vascular and endovascular surgery, including arterial aneurysmal and occlusive disease, wound care, dialysis access and venous disorders.

From December 4-7 and over the course of 4 days, more than 60 vascular experts from various parts of the world will join efforts in sharing knowledge to advance patient care. The first day will offer 6 interactive vascular workshops covering basic vascular techniques, open aortic surgery, infrainguinal bypasses, carotid endarterectomy, endovascular skills and vascular ultrasound. The remaining 3 days (December 4-7) will dedicate 12 vascular sessions to address all aspects of aortic, mesenteric, renal, carotid and peripheral occlusive disease, vascular trauma , diabetic foot, wound care and venous pathology. Live case demonstrations will add a special feature to the meeting, displaying leading vascular specialists sharing live their tips and tricks in conducting challenging cases. An abstract session will also be available to give junior faculty and vascular trainees the forum to present their new and exciting clinical or basic research. A special session on surgical education will focus on advancing training in vascular and endovascular surgery in the Arab world.
